2014 in 100 words

The year has been a steep learning curve.

I started the year teaching nursery children in the afternoons so mornings consisted of plenty of filling in forms and attending meetings. I attended our local SEN panel to observe then went to present our children. I got 5 children the Statements that they needed so that they could have the support in school or at a specialist provision.

The official SENCO course started – what a lot of work.

I started to be accepted within school, now the children and their parents talk to me more willingly – trust is such a delicate thing!

  1. As an ex-SENCo I know that trust is VERY powerful once you have it. Have an amazing 2015!! Maybe you can pop in & share some more writing as the year progresses!
